Responsibilities

Ascension Saint Thomas Medical Partners is looking for an Interventional  Cardiologist for our Saint Thomas Heart practice in Columbia, TN.   This opportunity offers close proximity to Nashville.

Position Highlights:

• Ascension Saint Thomas Heart boasts one of the most experienced cardiac programs in the nation.  It offers the full spectrum of adult cardiac services including surgery, robotic cardiac surgery, comprehensive structural heart and valve program, and advanced heart failure including MCS and heart transplant
• Join an established interventional cardiology group as the service line expands.  Program development opportunities in cardiac CTA reading
• Internal multi-specialty referral network
• General Cardiologist to work in the clinic, make rounds in the hospital, and be part of the call rotation.  Hospital has an IAE certified echo lab, ACC Accredited Chest Pain Center and Hospital EMR-Cerner.
• Experience strongly preferred
• BC/BE in cardiology

Requirements

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
Required Credential(s):
• Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Medical Examiners obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. KY License also required if working in a Kentucky facility.

Education:
• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.
