Position Overview:

Klickitat Valley Health is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our Family Medicine team. This role involves providing primary care coverage four days a week, with a daily patient volume of 14-17. You will be supported by a collaborative team that includes 4 Physicians, 10 mid-level providers, a Medical Director, Clinical Manager, and Office Support Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality medical care in our Family Medicine Clinic.
• Mentor and guide staff and mid-level providers, establishing best practices and addressing medical service issues.
• Collaborate with other physicians and specialists, coordinating referrals and consultations.
• Prescribe medications and educate patients on diagnoses, treatments, and wellness.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and effectively utilize the Meditech Expanse EMR system.
• Evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Engage in continuing education and maintain necessary certifications.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy with an active Washington State medical license.
• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Practice.
• Federal/state DEA registration and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• At least one year of recent full-time experience in an outpatient or acute care setting.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with EMR systems.
• Compassionate, professional, and ethical conduct with a strong focus on customer service.
