The University of Kansas Health System, Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking an academically oriented full-time Dermatopathologist to join our growing department. This faculty position offers a rich opportunity for involvement in a diverse and high-volume pathology practice, coupled with significant research and teaching prospects. 

The position involves managing diagnostic sign-out across various subspecialty areas, with a particular focus on general surgical pathology frozen section services. This position plays a key role in supporting the education of medical students, residents, and fellows through hands-on training and mentorship. Additionally, the role offers the opportunity to develop and lead research projects aligned with personal interests, contributing to both professional development and the advancement of the field.

Required Qualifications:

  • MD, DO, or MD/PhD
  • Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology
  • Fellowship Training in Dermatopathology
  • Eligibility for Unrestricted Licensure for the Practice of Medicine in Kansas

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong Diagnostic Skills
