Responsibilities

Physician - Franciscan Pain Management Clinic at St. Anthony

Franciscan Medical Group is actively recruiting a Fellowship trained pain medicine physician to join our team.  Our new physician will join a practice with additional pain specialists including a Pain Medicine Physician and one Physician Assistant.  The chronic pain management program is broad based, integrating care services that facilitate interdisciplinary care and patient satisfaction.  This includes strict drug screening programs, analgesic mediation, interventional pain procedures, rehabilitation therapy, psychological therapy and alternative medicine.

The physician performs patient assessment, data collection, and interprets findings and formulates treatment plans. Collaborates in the development and implementation of a plan of care based on patient needs throughout the patient's course of care. Our team collaborates in the development and implementation of the plan of care based on patient needs.  Medication management with emphasis on non-opioid pharmacotherapy and adjunctive treatments is a must.  Expectations include a wide range of the customary interventional skills as well as a willingness to assist our referring providers with treatment of chronic non-malignant pain conditions using opioid therapy when appropriate.  This is an outpatient elective clinical environment and is not an inpatient or emergent pain program.  Additional details available for qualified candidates.
